Winfield High School junior Elly Bertholf was named to the All-State first team for Class 4A girls golf.
Bertholf was one of three Lady Vikings to earn All-State honors, joining sophomore Chaney Littell and senior Kenzie Graham, who earned honorable mention.
The Lady Vikings brought home the third-place plaque at the two-day KSHSAA Class 4A State Championships on Oct. 21-22 at Hesston Golf Park.
Winfield fired a team 770, missing second place by just two strokes. Buhler captured the 4A State title with a 755.
Bertholf paired rounds of 87 and 89 to finish with a two-day 176, good for sixth place individually.
Morgan Brasser of Andale took the 4A State title with a 158.
Littell just missed the top 10, placing 11th at State with rounds of 92 and 94 for a two-day 186. Graham ended her senior campaign 32nd at State, pairing rounds of 100 and 103 for a 203.
Joining Bertholf and Brasser on the first team were Abby Donovan of Concordia, Haley Miller of Buhler, Payton Ginter of Wellington and Jaela Albers of Andale.
