Cowley College women’s tennis players Laura Quezada and Georgina Kaindoah, along with Jack Clements from the men’s team, recently were named Intercollegiate Tennis Association NJCAA All-Americans.

To be considered for All-American honors, athletes had to finish in the top 10 of the final Oracle/ITA national rankings for singles, or finish among the top five doubles teams of the final Oracle/ITA national rankings.

Quezada and Kaindoah gave the Lady Tigers two All-Americans in the same year for the first time since 2008.

“I felt we had an incredible team. The girls were committed to getting better and I can’t wait to have them back next season,” Cowley coach Manuel Raga said. “I am proud to have three of our athletes earn such prestigious awards this year — they work really hard on and off the court and I am very happy for them.”
