Cowley College catcher Cody Milligan capped a stellartwo-yearcareer with the Tigers with NJCAA Division I first-team All-American honors. Milligan, selected by the Atlanta Braves in the ninth round of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft, batted .500 in four games at the Juco World Series, scoring nine runs and driving in nine. He finished the season batting .453 with 65 RBI and a school-record nine triples. He was also successful on all 30 stolen base attempts. The Jayhawk East Most Valuable Player, Milligan helped the Tigers (47-14) to capture their third straight Jayhawk East title.
