With anger rising statewide about bigger electric bills, lawmakers advanced a proposal that would limit Evergy’s ability to recoup construction costs from customers’ wallets.

47 cents per month savings? You gotta be kidding me! The utility companies have been gouging Winfield customers for over two years now. We freeze in the winter and roast in the summer trying to keep cost down and still our utilities are at an all time high. How much longer should we keep paying excessive costs for mismanagement?

Time to wake up Winfield . How many more businesses are we going to lose before someone says enough!!
