Crawlin’ with People

Dozens of people mill about, wait in line for beverages or listen to music in the heart of downtown, Ninth Avenue and Main Street in Winfield during the expanded Music Crawl on Tuesday night.

Winfield officials said the city’s annual music crawl and hamburger feed went well on Tuesday night, as the event resumed with a new format after being cancelled due to COVID last year.

The event, sponsored by the Winfield Main Street Committee of the Winfield Main Street, is usually held the Tuesday before the official start of the Walnut Valley Festival. Musicians perform outside of local businesses, and people can walk around and enjoy the music. A hamburger feed and beer/wine garden are also featured.
