Celebrate the holiday season with music by attending the annual Candlelight Vespers concert at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Robert Brown Theatre.

The concert will feature traditional and original Christmas music by the Cowley College instrumental and vocal music ensembles. There is no cost to attend.

There will be limited seating. To attend the concert virtually, patrons can watch online here.

Cowley director of vocal music Lindsay Allen said the students are working hard to safely deliver one of her favorite concerts of the year.

“While this year looks different in so many ways, I hope Vespers gives people some hope and peace as it kicks off the Christmas season for so many,” Allen said. “Measures taken by the administration, faculty and staff have allowed students to continue to learn in a safe environment and produce quality performances.”

Allen will direct the vocal ensembles, while Dr. Michael Christensen will direct the instrumental ensembles. Music instructor Stephen Butler will serve as an accompanist.
