Crime of December

Arkansas City officers responded to Evergy, 3113 N. Summit St., for a report of stolen tools taken out of service vehicles.

During the investigation of the incident, officers learned that tools were taken from three trucks; some that were taken include Makita-brand power tools.

The Kansas Gas Service also had a truck broken into, which was parked on the same lot. Missing are two Milwaukee 18 volt batteries and a charger.

The service companies think the tools were taken on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020.

Contact the ACPD with any information involving these two incidents at (620) 441-4444 or Cowley Crime Stoppers at (620) 442-7777.

A defendant’s guilt or innocence is to be determined by a court of law.
