Hog Mob Ministries, a local ministry, worked with a large group of local citizens Saturday to clean up the area around the West Chestnut Avenue bridge in Arkansas City. The Suicide Prevention Coalition of Cowley County wants to make the site a more positive space with uplifting messages. ‘The community came together in spirit and fellowship to clean up an area in town that has traumatically affected a lot of us in different ways,’ Hog Mob member Matthew Conant said.
