Fill ’er Up

Arkansas City Public Services Superintendent Tony Tapia checks out the progress of the Paris Park Pool on Thursday as it slowly fills. Tapia said the pool, which holds more than 800,000 gallons, will take two days to fill. ‘We’re filling it now because it opens Memorial Day and the water has to have time to warm up,’ he said.
