Maria M. Dreisziger, 77, died Friday, June 17, 2022 in Parker, Colo.
She was born June 10, 1945 in Vöcklabruck, Austria to Joseph and Magdalena (Scheffer) Norby.
Parish rosary is at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 23, followed by a parish Mass at 10:30 a.m., at Church of the Holy Cross. Friends can call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 22 at Elliott Mortuary.

Maria graduated from Bay Village High School in 1963 and cum laude from Wichita State University with a bachelor of science degree in computer science in 1985. She was a retired computer programmer from Cessna. She married the love of her life, Adam Dreisziger, on Nov. 16, 1963 in Bay Village, Ohio. He died on Aug. 30, 2018. She loved giving her time to the Hutchinson Symphony and the Hutchinson Public Library, as well as tutoring English, playing the piano, oil painting and gardening. Maria had a weekly article in the opinion section of the Hutchinson News for many years, where she had many followers.
Maria is survived by her son, Andrew (Renee) Dreisziger; daughter, Elena Dreisziger; grandchildren, Cassidy (Justin) Hood, Shayla Dreisziger, Daisy, Aidan, Calvin and Maggie Fisher, and Jessi Engel; great-grandchildren, Jaxith Dreisziger, Austin Davis and Blaze Walworth; and sister, Yolanda Norby.
