Jeffrey Alan “Jeff” Hawkins, 60, passed away at home in his sleep on Sept. 13, 2021.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18 at Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home in Arkansas City. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.

Jeff was born July 17, 1961 to Richard and Norma (Mendell) Hawkins in Elkhart. Jeff was raised in Arkansas City and graduated from Arkansas City High School. He later attended WTI in Wichita, graduating with a degree in advanced electrical. Jeff had a kidney transplant 19 years ago thanks to his brother, Richard.
Jeff loved his wife and family. He was always available with an inspiration chat and an infectious smile. Jeff was an avid music lover and played bass guitar. He spoiled his step-children and grandchildren every chance he got.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard; sister, Roberta Pepper; and aunt, Bee Mendell.
Jeff leaves behind his wife, Zena Hawkins, of the home; mother, Norma Hawkins; brother, Rick Hawkins and wife, Kristi; step-daughter, Brandy and husband, Josh Atkinson; step-son, Michelo and wife, Lisa Grimley; grandchildren, Jessie, Bryson, Tyla, Starlyn and Ryder; and beloved nieces and nephews, Melody, Stacy, Aaron and Jake.
