William “Craig” Ballinger, 67, of Arkansas City, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021 at Presbyterian Manor.

Craig was born Feb. 28, 1954 to William L. and Wanda C. (Umbarger) Ballinger in Wichita. He attended Arkansas City schools as a youngster. Craig married Tonya Long and the couple had four children. He worked for McCools flower shop and L.G. Pike Construction in his early years. He then went to work for Cessna and later for Boeing for nearly 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Craig is survived by his children, Bryce Ballinger and partner, Cyndi, of Arkansas City, Kara Allee, of Colorado Springs, Colo., Brandon Beck and spouse, Austin, and Tia Ballinger, all of Winfield; sisters, Janet Berg, of Arkansas City, and Becky Cale and spouse, Charles, of British Columbia, Canada; and grandchildren, Orion Ballinger and Draven Allee.
