Ken White is an impressive candidate for the 79th District, Kansas House of Representatives. Yes, he is a talented musician and steward/protector of Belle Plaine’s Bartlett Arboretum, but I want to talk about his business skills.
He co-founded Howerton+White, which is a sophisticated Wichita marketing agency, 18 years ago. The agency specializes in digital marketing, web design and brand building. Howerton+White has 17 employees. He is a savvy businessman who operates in a complicated business environment daily. They have gone through the entrepreneurial stages of business start up to a mature, well-run organization. Ken has excellent management capabilities as well as the ability to formulate and oversee budgets. He believes that decisions should be made from listening to constituents and studying/analyzing the data.
Ken White’s management experience through the Bartlett Arboretum also includes working with land drainage issues, construction, environmental concerns, and the railway.
Our government is a complicated set of systems. We need to consistently find common ground and work together. We don’t need to go back. Ken can help us move forward in the spirit of cooperation for the good of south-central Kansas instead of focusing on narrow interests.
Vote in the upcoming primary.
