Class 4A Regional champions!

CLEARWATER -- The Winfield High School softball team stunned host Clearwater in the championship game of the Class 4A Regional Tournament, defeating the Lady Indians 4-3 in the title game Wednesday afternoon.

The fifth-seeded Lady Vikings (14-8) opened tourney play earlier Wednesday by trouncing 12th-seeded Abilene 17-2 in the semifinals.

The fourth-seeded Lady Indians (16-6) advanced with a 10-0 shutout of 13th-seeded El Dorado.
