Cowley College senior Iva Halacheva is flanked by Cowley volleyball head coach Steven Gream and assistant coach Lana Da Silva as she signs a National Letter of Intent to continue her volleyball career at Division I Missouri State University in Springfield. Halacheva recorded the second-most kills in a single season (605), leading the Lady Tigers to a 41-1 record and National runner-up finish. Her three-year total of 1,581 kills shattered the school record. She is also the school record-holder in kills per set. The 6-foot-1 outside hitter will join a Missouri State program that plays in the Missouri Valley Conference and finished last season with a 17-13 record.
